DIY Corded Storage Boxes

Paige

Are you looking for a stylish and personalized way to store all of your important things? From kids toys to office supplies, my DIY Corded Storage Boxes are the perfect addition to your home decor and for a fraction of the cost. Here is how to get started!
You Will Need:
  • Cardboard box
  • Nylon Cord
  • Pillowcase
  • Hot glue
  • Glue gun
  • Scissors

How-To:

1. Using hot glue, attach cord in single layers around all sides of the box, starting at the bottom and working your way up to the top. Let dry.

2. Take a pillow case and place it in your box, folding the top under itself until tucked in and secure around the top of the box.

3. Optional: Purchase removable/washable Milk Crate Basket liners, available at Big-Box stores.

4. To attach handles, cut slits in the top of 2 sides, pull a piece of your cord through and tie in a loose loop.
