Depending on your man and his friends, it can be sometimes quite the challenge to put together a gift bag for the groomsmen. I found it really helped when we decided on a theme for the boys bachelor party and then I ran with it!
Jason loves golf, so the boys arranged for a day on the green with friends, food and a lot of fun. So, I arranged gifts for all the boys to enjoy on the golf course!
Duffle Bag – These bags are the perfect size as a gym bag or a weekend getaway bag, so you know that they will be used time after time. I also had printed on the bags Los Angeles, 2015 (the city of our wedding and the year). Printing on the bags is a great way to personalize your gift and create memorabilia for your wedding party.
Golf Shirts – These are the real deal – soft, lightweight & breathable fabric … I mean lets face it they are boys in the LA sun in June, it’s warm. To add a little some somethin’ to them I ironed on each Groomsmen’s initials in the corner too. You could add lettering to the back if you wanted or just leave them plain.
Golf Caps – Sun protection on the golf course and an excuse for the boys not to do their hair. Having the groomsmen in all the same golf caps is a great way to identify who is with the wedding party on the day of festivities but it’s also something that the boys can use and wear long after the wedding.
Golf Towel – I am not sure why you need one but apparently you do … so why not!?
Gratitude Journal – Write a message to each groomsmen telling them how much it means to you to have them there when you say “I do”. Not all men are into journaling I’m sure, but I think it’s a more personal way of saying thank you than with a card. Plus journals and notebooks are ALWAYS used – let’s be practical when it comes to our men.
Personalized Golf Tees – A great keepsake that is also useful! Have whatever message you want printed onto the tees.
Fun Golf Socks – I ordered packs of different fun colored socks for all the boys to wear! You know those typical plaid style golf socks? Every golfer should look the part!
Sunglasses – These were so fun I couldn’t turn them down! They remind me of John Lennon and are so different and on trend right now. I knew the boys would have a lot of fun rocking these on the golf course – not to mention they will help when their eyes are a little light sensitive the next day and hide those tired eyes!
The boys had such a great day and I know that these gifts will be used over and over again and when they do … the will remember us!
