DIY Coffee Filter Wedding Backdrop

Paige

Do you have a spare 900 coffee filters just hanging around the house? I thought you might. I have a DIY to get all of those #DIYBrides out there started for this wedding season.

Here’s how to get started …

You Will Need:
  • 900 Coffee filters
  • Fishing line
  • Small metal washers
  • Rit dye
  • Bucket
  • Wood board
  • Staple gun

How-To:

  1. Take your bucket and fill it halfway with water. Add several drops of the RIT dye until you have the desired color you want. Take a bunch of 20 and submerge it halfway into the water.
  2. Set aside to dry. Once all 900 are dry, thread fishing line through the middle of each one . Securing with a knot and adding washers where you need more weight.
  3. Next, we attach the lines to the top board which will hold all of the coffee filters in place. Then you want to hang it somewhere high to be a backdrop, and you have a beautiful wedding backdrop.
