On Home & Family we payed homage to “Lord of the Rings” with the perfect added touch to your “precious” teens bedroom! Precious … hehe, get it?
Lord of the Rings was an epic film series and in honour of having Dominic Monaghan on the show we made this awesome door sign for you teens bedroom. It gives you teens a creative opportunity to display whether or not they want company, and let’s face it … it’s usually not.
Here’s what you need to get started!
You Will Need:
- Rope
- Wood
- Mod Podge
- Paint
- Scissors
- 5/8 in Drill
- Printer
- Tracing Paper
How To:
1. Take 12×4 piece of hobby wood and drill two holes at the top
2. Paint or stain the piece of wood & let dry
3. Take tracing paper and tape it to a piece of cardstock and run it through the printer.
4. Print downloadable design onto paper
5. Take tracing paper off of the card stock and begin to fold and crinkle
6. Place paper on wood and seal with Sephia stained Mod Podge
7. Take rope and pull through the holes tying knots at each end
